Position Overview:

Pantheon is looking for a talented and experienced Cloud Support Engineer to join our team. You will play a critical role in supporting our on-prem to AWS data migration effort.

Responsibilities:



  • Support: You will focus on supporting the overall AWS environment to include services such as IAM policy management, monitoring, patching, incident response, logging, STIGs, etc.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues: You will analyze customer problems related to AWS services, diagnose root causes, and develop solutions to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
  • Provide technical guidance and support: You will act as a technical resource for customers, answering their questions, guiding them through troubleshooting steps, and configuring AWS services to meet their specific needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams: You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other internal teams to escalate complex issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation: You will create and maintain clear and concise knowledge base articles and documentation to empower customers with self-service solutions.
  • Stay current on AWS technologies: You will continuously learn and stay updated on the latest AWS services and features to provide the best possible support to customers.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • 10 years supporting IT operations or related work
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, particularly EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, and CloudFormation.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with AWS
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills


Preferred Skills & Experience:



  • Experience working with DoD or federal clients is a plus.
  • AWS certification (Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect -Associate).
  • Data migrations from on-prem to the cloud.


Education:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Clearance Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Work Location: United States - Remote

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $79,200 - $99,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
