Position Title:Senior Research Analyst Business Unit:WM - FNTC Reports to:Director of Investments and Portfolio Management Position Overview: This position is primarily responsible for performing various duties relating to the Discipline and Research Services function including securities selection and research, securities performance and overall reporting, strategy trading and general compliance with assorted operating policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. The incumbent performs reporting and strategy maintenance on portfolio management software, and trading platforms. Primary Responsibilities: Create and monitor investment strategies that include stocks, bonds, mutual funds, MLPs, Preferred stock, ETFs, and SMA managers. Provide rationale for holdings, and track both long term and short term performance of the strategies. Refines and develops investment solutions as requested or as market needs arise under the request and direction of the management team. Provide investment ideas and rationale for holdings. Track performance of the strategies and insightful research both subjective and objective to be used in client meetings, PA talking points, sales and marketing materials. Third-party investment manager sourcing, manager research and selection, and periodic due diligence. Participate in weekly strategy conference calls, produce reports that include strategy data and investment analytics on current strategies as well as suggested changes. Maintains portfolio management database and software. Updates internal FNB Strategies and security positions on Bloomberg and Portfolio Management system. Coordinates processing of client portfolio performance software and database. Provides support to the sales and servicing of client accounts through performance analysis, due diligence reporting, and ad hoc reports as requested. Aid in the construction and monitoring criteria of investment policy regulations and oversight in conjunction with management. Provide regular reports on any violations to individual holdings that may violate our criteria (stocks, mutual funds, SMAs) and suggest a preferred replacement option. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
