Geospatial Project Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Geospatial Project Manager with a proven track record of managing geospatial and GIS projects with particular emphasis on asset management. While focused on state DOTs and local government clients, the candidate will also work across all Hanson markets to provide leadership and guidance with their customers which include aviation, railway, power, federal, and industrial clients. The ideal candidate will have expertise in geospatial data management, and will be adept at leading complex projects, guiding multidiscipline teams, and engaging with stakeholders and clients at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end geospatial and GIS projects.
• Collaborate with internal and external clients to understand requirements and customize solutions involving geospatial data and systems.
• Oversee the development, integration, and deployment of GIS solutions and applications.
• Evaluation, development, and implementation of business process improvement recommendations related to asset management and asset investment planning.
• Prepare and deliver project presentations, reports, and documentation to stakeholders.
• Provide technical expertise in GIS, geospatial analytics, and related systems.
• Provide support for corporate innovation applications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of industry experience.
• Extensive experience with GIS platforms (e.g., ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS) and geospatial data management.
• Demonstrated success managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary geospatial projects.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• PMP, GISP, or similar certification is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with geospatial data integration into asset management platforms.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques, including application scripting (SQL, Python).
• Experience with cloud-based geospatial platforms and tools within the Microsoft Azure and ESRI environments.

Annual salary range for this position: $106,000-$135,000

This position is also eligible for annual discretionary bonus.
