CLA is looking to hire a Tax Director or Manager to join the leadership of CLA Carolina's Private Client Services Team. You'll have the opportunity in this role to work with private High Net Worth clients and the entities that serve as a part of their wealth portfolio, including their real estate holdings, small S-corps and partnerships, as well as their investment portfolio and trusts, providing tax advise to help them as they build generational wealth.

How you'll create opportunities in this Tax Manager or Director role:

  • Consult clients by delivering a full range of gift, estate, and trust tax planning and consulting services including planning strategies in minimizing estate taxes, business succession, and asset protection, reviewing trust, estate, gift and high net worth individual income tax returns.
  • Collaborate with CLA's Wealth Advisory practice and other client professionals.
  • Lead, schedule, supervise, and review tax engagements.
  • Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
  • Foster and build opportunities for our clients, communities, and people.
  • Become an industry professional and attend industry-leading events and trainings.
  • Perform a range of tax procedures in accordance with the size and complexity of the engagement.
  • Review complex individual, pass-through entity, and partnership tax returns.

What you will need:

  • You have a minimum of 6 years of experience serving in a tax role with a public accounting firm.
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • You have an active JD, CPA, or EA certification.
