DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Management Analyst 1, you will play a key role in executing a range of high-level duties with minimal supervision, directly supporting the administration directorate and the director of administration. Your expertise will be essential in updating and maintaining our core policies, procedures, and programs.
In this position, you will confidently handle diverse responsibilities, including analyzing agency policies, managing the communications and document processing program, and serving as a reliable backup for our agency travel coordinator. You will take on various assignments focused on developing and enhancing our processes and procedures. Additionally, you will prepare and revise procedural manuals and instructional materials with precision. Your thorough reviews and analyses of work methods, procedures, administrative policies, and managerial processes will contribute significantly to our operational excellence. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Irregular Schedule: In the event of an emergency/disaster situation or training exercise, this position may be required to travel, work up to 12-hour shifts, and work outside of the normal work hours, including weekends and overnights.

- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time upon successful completion of a training period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will receive the minimum starting salary listed on this posting. The starting salary is non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as an Administration and Management Trainee performing technical management analysis work; or one year of experience in technical management analysis work, and a bachelor's degree; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
