DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will be responsible for providing skilled and technical work as the chief operator responsible for the maintenance, operation, and regulatory compliance of the Shawnee State Park water treatment plant. Your duties will include participating in the management of a sophisticated water treatment filtration system that draws surface water to supply potable water to the park.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hour work week
- This position performs in a seven (7) day a week operation and may be scheduled to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Special Requirements:
- Must possess a valid certificate issued by the State Board for Certification of Sewage Treatment Plant and Waterworks Operators for water treatment plants class D and E with the subclasses of 6, 8, 12, and 13.
- This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Post Employment Requirement:
- You must obtain necessary wastewater operator licenses through the Department of Environmental Protection within 2 years of employment: Waste water- class D, E subclass 1 and 4
