Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a Operations Leader - Healthcare Payer who will be responsible to Lead the planning and implementation of project portfolios within the healthcare sector focusing on Clinical Enrollment and Network Management. This role is pivotal in driving our project delivery to new heights ensuring efficiency and enhancing our client service capabilities in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Duties include consistently meeting or exceeding established performance metrics, contract SLAs, and the compliancy requirements of state and federal government authorities, negotiating and coordinating contractual, operational and service requirements for clients and trade vendors serving the operational departments, developing strategies and tactics to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and budget aligning with the companys strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues ensuring smooth project progression.
  • Utilize expertise in Finance & Accounting and Payer domains to enhance project outcomes and client satisfaction.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management process adopting best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Monitor project performance using appropriate systems tools and techniques to track progress.
  • Provide detailed reports and forecasts to stakeholders highlighting potential risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate communication and negotiation with clients and stakeholders ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Mentor and guide project managers and teams fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends regulatory changes and technological advancements that may impact project delivery.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • 20+ years of experience in Clinical Enrollment and Network Management with at least
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale projects within the healthcare sector particularly in Finance & Accounting and Payer domains.
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills capable of motivating teams to achieve high performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools with an ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder expectations and build strong client relationships.
  • Adept at risk management and project recovery ensuring projects remain on track despite challenges.
  • Experience in budget management
  • Analytical skills including critical and strategic thinking
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills:

    • Experience as a senior operations leader in a health plan or BPO that provided Medicare and Medicaid services
    • Good to have Project/Program training and certifications (PMI/SAFe 5.0/Prince II)
