Vaco has partnered with a client on the Southwest side of Indianapolis to hire a Service Coordinator. This is a direct hire opportunity with full employee benefits. The Service Coordinator (Plumbing) will be responsible for coordinating technician schedules, administering third-party portals, and be a conduit for communications between our staff and customers. The ideal candidate will be process-driven, be comfortable with administrative tasks, and be able communicate both internally and externally. Responsibilities and Duties Coordinate technician schedules Ensure timely and efficient delivery of services to customers Receive and monitor service requests Communicate with customers to schedule appointments and provide updates on service status Maintain accurate records of service requests, work orders, and customer interactions within the multiple software, including ServiceTrade and various customer portals Complete additional administrative tasks as assigned Maintains on-call schedule for service technicians and after-hours service procedures Reviews completed service work orders for accuracy Minimum Requirements 2 years of experience in coordination of HVAC/R and/or Plumbing Services Strong ability to follow company processes Willingness to work as a team member Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Ability to work under occasional pressure or within deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Vaco values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
