Facilities Technician

This job posting describes a Maintenance Technician / Facilities Technician role, ideal for someone with hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, and industrial maintenance within a manufacturing or warehouse setting.

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our clients team and ensure production machines and plant equipment operate efficiently. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Machine & Equipment Maintenance - Perform preventative, scheduled, and emergency maintenance on production machinery and plant equipment.

Troubleshooting & Repair - Diagnose issues, replace or repair parts, test functionality, and make necessary adjustments.

Facilities Maintenance - Handle plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and electrical repairs to keep the plant running smoothly.

Technical Proficiency - Utilize hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and RFID scanning equipment to complete tasks efficiently.

Documentation & Compliance - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations, federal, state, and local codes.

Education - High school diploma/GED required; technical school training preferred.

Experience - 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.

Technical Expertise - Hands-on knowledge of pneumatic, mechanical, electrical/electronic, and industrial systems; HVAC experience is a plus.

Tools & Equipment - Proficiency in using various hand/power tools, meters, and mobile equipment.

Computer Skills - Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and RFID scanning systems.

Independent Worker & Team Player - Strong organizational skills, ability to work autonomously, and collaborate effectively.

Pay: $23.50/hour

Schedule: 3rd shift, Monday - Thursday, 10-hour shifts

Location: Manufacturing/Warehouse Facility
