This is a Full Time, Day shift in Harrisonburg, VA! Call schedule requires a 30-minute response time for STEMI. Schedule is 4 Ten-hour shifts from 7a to 530p. Call Requirements are 1 day per week and 4th weekend rotation. Graduated Call. "Best Team on the East Coast!" -Cath Lab at Sentara RMH! Must be within 30 minutes of the facility for on call requirements. Cardiac Cath Information: The Cardiac Cath at the Heart and Vascular Center offers invasive cardiology procedures (structural heart, Mitro and TAVR) and cardiothoracic surgery services. This area is growing rapidly, seeing 1,400 diagnostic and 450 interventional procedures annually. The Interventional Tech can expect around 4 procedures a day. This is a well-organized 12-person unit including RN's and Interventional Techs with a focus on education and professional growth. The Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist is a health care professional that, through the utilization of specialized equipment and under the direction of a qualified physician, assists in the performance of cardiac and vascular procedures. Resulting in an accurate diagnosis and/or optimal treatment of congenital or acquired heart disease while maintaining maximum patient safety and comfort. The Cardiovascular Invasive Tech performs/reviews a baseline patient assessment, evaluates patient response to diagnostic or interventional maneuvers during cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures. Provides patient care commonly used in the cardiac catheterization laboratory as requested and under the direction of a qualified physician. The Cardiovascular Invasive Tech acts as a first assistant during diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization. Job Requirements

ACLS required within 90 days of hire.
