About the Role The Sr. Marketing Communications Specialist will lead the Marketing Communication team, providing connection, direction, and support for internal Marketing Department communications. This role involves consulting with leadership and business partners to identify the best internal communication solutions based on audience understanding and business objectives. As a team lead, you will spearhead high-impact strategic initiatives, ensuring that messaging is engaging and aligned with Marketing and Enterprise direction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate both big-picture strategic thinking and detail-oriented approaches to meet the consultation and communication needs of business partners.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Partner with Marketing Leadership and the Head of Marketing to build narratives based on department strategies that'll be utilized in executive conversations, internal Marketing, and other Enterprise teams.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Campaign Managers, and cross-functional Agency/Marketing teams to establish a regular cadence of team updates and build processes that keep teams informed about key initiatives.
- Engage with business partners to ensure messages are relevant to the Agent and field audience regarding marketing programs, promotions, supporting agent marketing engagement.
- Coordinate the planning, development, and delivery of internal marketing communication materials using human, print, and digital channels.
Consult
- Work directly with Marketing Executives and Leadership to understand their communication needs and deliver tailored solutions that align with business objectives.
- Build trust and rapport quickly with individuals at all job levels, serving as a consultant and advisor on communication strategies and tactics.
- Champion innovation by ahead on industry trends to advocate for modern communication channels and approaches.
- Identify communication challenges and devise actionable plans to enhance our storytelling approach.
- Educate and upskill others, enabling wider storytelling and communication design literacy while developing basic skills.
Create
- Write and design communications that convey complex information in simple, engaging ways, including visual communication, across multiple channels.
- Collaborate with Marketing Executives, Leadership, Campaign Teams, Function Managers, and Enterprise teams to craft and communicate impactful narratives that reflect our brand and engage stakeholders.
- Leverage business acumen, strategic thinking, and communication best practices to connect business stories with organizational strategies.
- Promote continuous improvement of visual design strategy, audience/user experience standards, brand guidelines, and aspirational visualizations.

- Team Building and Leadership Behavior: Help others recognize and consider enterprise-wide impacts in completing work assignments. Experience managing multiple assignments while self-directing daily priorities and tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- At least 5 years or more in a corporate communication or content creation role.
- Recent experience working in marketing or related field.
- A work portfolio that shows proficiency with writing and designing communications in Word and PowerPoint.
- Recent experience leading and/or co-leading development of communication strategies and tactics and/or change management plans to support the launch of a change, program, or initiative.

- May require travel via commercial transportation or motor vehicles
- May work irregular hours, including weekends/holidays
- Responsible for the handling and maintenance of confidential and highly sensitive information
