What you will do:



  • Monitoring/operating equipment and associated systems within standard operating conditions and limits
  • Operating and monitoring process equipment which can include; starting and stopping pumps, compressors and engines, opening and closing of valves ranging in dimensions of " to 12", and adjusting pneumatic and electrical controls
  • Operating computerized control systems
  • Operating mobile equipment; forklift, front end loader and track mobile
  • Recording and entering data readings from plant equipment and process
  • Responds to and appropriately addresses process upsets
  • Identify possible or current operating problems and recommend action to resolve anydeficiencies in rate, quality or mechanical operation
  • Identify actual or potential maintenance problems and take appropriate action
  • Responsible for keeping area clean and clutter free
  • Safety of employees and contractors
  • Work a rotating 12-hour shift with overtime as needed (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
  • This position will require climbing stairs or ladders, entering confined spaces, or lifting up to 50 pounds as needed to complete tasks



What you will bring:



  • Ahigh school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, understand and apply operating procedures
  • Able to use computers for job functions and training
  • Experience in manufacturing plant operations is a plus
  • Troubleshooting and analytical ability
  • Hold a valid driver's license
