Position Summary
The UNC Department of Ob/Gyn Division of Urogynecology is seeking a Urogynecologic fellowship-trained physician to join our faculty as an adjunct clinical assistant professor to work with us in the capacity of a part-time faculty member. The duties of this position are to provide part-time coverage in the Urogynecology clinic and to assist with the training of Ob/Gyn learners. This is a per diem position wherein you will provide comprehensive care for patients in the outpatient setting at the UNC Urogynecology clinic in Raleigh, NC. The position will begin on or around July 1, 2025. We anticipate requiring this clinical assistance for about 6 months. This position pays at a rate of $225/hour. We anticipate that this position will cover up to 10-12 days per month. Payment will occur monthly in a lump sum. This faculty position does not include any additional benefits, holiday pay, or leave accruals, but does cover malpractice insurance.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
This position requires an MD or DO degree with completion of a 4-year ACGME residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. The position also requires completion of a 3-year fellowship in Urogynecology by the start date of 7/1/2025. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Candidate must be proficient in managing all Urogynecology conditions including prolapse, incontinence, fistulae, chronic UTI's, hematuria, interstitial cystitis, levator spasm, vaginal atrophy, and other typical types of pelvic floor dysfunction. Candidate should be proficient in interpretation of urodynamics, and performance of surveillance cystoscopy.
