OverviewThe Launch Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of our fast-paced and dynamic launches. This role is critical in ensuring that products or services are introduced to the market efficiently, on time, and on budget. The Launch Manager will work closely with various teams, across marketing to ensure all aspects of the launch are well-coordinated, aligned and executed in a timely manner.They ensure that all aspects of a launch, including timelines, resources, communication, and stakeholder involvement, are effectively managed. This role involves cross-functional collaboration with product development, marketing, sales, and operations teams to deliver a seamless and successful launch experience.This individual will report directly to the Chief of Staff and will act as a core member of the business unit's marketing team. This individual will play a critical role in driving success and growth across, the Data, AI and Digital Applications teams
ResponsibilitiesProject Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed launch plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring all teams are aligned and resources are allocated.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across various departments (e.g., Engineering, Marketing teams, Field/Partner, Analyst relations (AR)/ Public Relations (PR), and Global Demand Center (GDC) to ensure smooth execution of the launch.Stakeholder Management: Communicate regularly with key stakeholders, including leadership, to provide updates on launch progress, risks, and performance.Risk Management: Identify potential challenges or risks related to the launch and proactively address them to ensure minimal impact on the timeline or outcomes.Market Readiness: Ensure that all market readiness requirements are met, such as product availability, training for sales teams, field and partner assets, and post-launch support and port mortems.Launch Execution: Lead and manage the day-to-day activities leading up to and during the launch, ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule and according to plan.Performance Monitoring: Track launch performance with PR and GDC, measure success against pre-defined key performance indicators (KPIs), and gather feedback for continuous improvement.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of the launch process and report progress and results to stakeholders. |
