OverviewAs a Regional Operations Manager - Rapid Response, you will focus on the execution of special projects and new interest for the Rapid Response program. You will enable program development and delivery, provide leadership, work with internal partners to understand staffing needs, work on Regional process improvements, and governance for DC Operations that will support our current and future growth. In this role you will work collaboratively with all CO+I stakeholders to support emerging business needs and growth for the organization, driving excellence in service through industry best practices. Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As an Operations Manager for our Regional Rapid Response Team, you and your team will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. ResponsibilitiesSupport a strategic vision and implementation plan for regional datacenter operations that will position the organization to restore capacity and enable growth. Lead a team of Datacenter Operations Specialist and be responsible for providing oversight to the Americas Region with Breakfix, Deployment, Decommission, Logistics, systemic troubleshooting and process and tooling improvements. Collaborate with various Engineering, Construction, end to end build teams, regional integration, Operations, and other Regional Rapid Response Managers with an emphasis on continuous improvement. Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities and communicate to stakeholders and other teams to drive resolution. Create lessons learned documentation, best practices, and innovations on existing process/procedures and tools to improve efficiency and productivity. Establish data analytics to evaluate the process change efficiency and effectiveness. Embody ourcultureandvalues. | |
