Information Technology Consultant

The Opportunity:

As a data analyst and IT consultant, you love diving into data and turning it into meaningful insights. As a data analyst at Booz Allen, you can use your skills and experience to support a mission and use data for good. We need a data expert like you to bring your expertise to help our clients meet their mission by supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Information Technology (IT) solutions.

As an on-site client-facing IT Consultant on our team, you'll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You'll work closely with clients to gain expert knowledge of FMS information architectures, taxonomies, and workflows. You will analyze FMS business needs and user stories to collect and document requirements for further evaluation while utilizing process models, specifications, and other data visualization tools to develop FMS user requirements. You will coordinate user IT requirements with FMS developers and project teams. You'll move quickly in an exciting and fluid environment to support the development of a project roadmap, establish project milestones, and implement metrics to track progress while working together with your team to make a tangible difference.

You Have:

• Experience with computer requirements and techniques

• Knowledge of the Appian platform and the customary approaches, techniques, and requirements appropriate to an assigned computer applications area or computer specialty area in an organization

• Secret clearance

• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with computer project assignments

• Experience planning the sequence of actions necessary to accomplish an assignment, including coordination with others outside the organizational unit and development of project controls

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or Operations Research

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
