Overview:
Interested in a career in sales? Join a new team within the Annuity Marketing division to identify and engage potential advisor recruits. You'll gain insight into proven recruitment practices, engage in list building, and cold calling financial professionals nationwide to join our Advisors Excel network. Your role involves uncovering opportunities and securing next steps in the recruitment process, setting the stage for the VP of Sales Development to build relationships. If you're motivated and driven to grow your sales experience, this is a great opportunity for you.
What you'll do: In this section, keep it simplistic & make it REAL. The focus is to paint a day to day picture of what someone would be accomplishing in this role. Refrain from using industry jargon or AE terminology, put it in layman's terms as best as you can. Pick 3-5 main aspects of the position and bullet out. Prioritize list according to the duties done most to least.
- Generate new relationships with financial advisors by reaching out via cold calls
- Build list of qualified contacts through research, warm/cold calls, and emails
- Develop a working knowledge of our annuity carriers & products
- Execute marketing campaigns through e-mail, webinars and mail processes
- Regularly enhancing sales skills through independent learning and collaboration with peers
Experience you'll bring:
- Driven, motivated, competitive with an interest in sales
- Exceptional communication skills, able to interact and connect with different personality types and levels
- Strong time management and scheduling abilities, with a proven capacity to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail
- Quick learner of advisor-facing value propositions, with the capability to effectively communicate and advance discussions

- Previous experience in the financial industry and/or sales experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field
