IT Business Analyst

The Opportunity:

You know that true progress is made at the intersection of business and tech, and as an IT business analyst, you're highly skilled in both. Here, you'll have the chance to work with an agile team as they develop digital products to support your clients' most pressing missions. We're looking for someone like you to propel business analytics and processes forward, as well as delve into technology trends to deliver user-friendly client experiences.

As an IT business analyst, you'll develop leading-edge systems. Partnering with your team of architects, cloud engineers, and DevSecOps engineers you'll identify clients' business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You'll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you'll lead your team as they fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. Together, you'll deliver high business value products to our clients. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience working as an IT Business Analyst

  • Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria and structuring user stories for feature development

  • Experience with modeling business processes, process analysis methodologies, or capturing requirements

  • Experience leading requirements meetings or conducting requirements workshops and sessions with business and IT stakeholders

  • Experience working in cross-functional, agile teams to design large-scale digital experiences that meet business objectives

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Atlassian Suite, including Jira and Confluence

  • Ability to work with development teams on generating documentation on functionality being delivered

  • Ability to contribute to the preparation for and delivery of software system demonstrations to the user community

  • Possession of excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • SAFe or Agile Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
