Become part of a dedicated and successful team of inspection experts responsible for evaluating development and flight vehicle components for various spaceflight systems. Your daily tasks will include preparing parts for inspection, conducting inspections, and providing feedback to team members on inspection results. You will play a crucial role in accurately determining the configuration of high-value components based on engineering designs and collaborating with customers and partners to achieve breakthroughs. The most effective inspectors possess the abilities to identify and resolve potential gaps in hardware pedigree and apply their skills in measuring parts.

o Weekend Day Shift: Friday-Sunday 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM

* Interviews will include a technical assessment

* Multiple positions available

• Safely perform visual and dimensional inspection
• Perform first article, in-process & final inspections
• Document, track and complete nonconformance reports
• Review and complete inspection records
• Interaction with quality system documentation
• Provide inspection time estimates

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in visual & dimensional inspection of aerospace components.
• Precision measurement equipment programming and operation.
• Blueprint reading skills including GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994 or 2009 standard.
• Knowledgeable of calibration methods for precision measurement equipment
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of precision hand tools, gages, and other manufacturing and test/inspection equipment.
• Experience inspecting tight tolerance, high value components.
• Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates.
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
• Ability to work off-shifts
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

• Background in castings / foundry experience.
• Internal auditing experience.
• Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts around flight critical hardware.
• Basic manufacturing process knowledge (Additive Manufacturing, machining heat treat, plating, coating, EDM, grinding, etc.)
