Zayo is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer to be primarily responsible for driving top-line revenue in partnership with Sales, serving as the technical source of truth in both internal and external interactions. This includes ownership of the designs of complex solutions within the assigned patch of accounts and a thorough understanding of how Zayo's solutions will interact with customer ecosystems. This requires a thorough technical understanding of all of Zayo's products across the Connectivity, Cloud, and Colocation product suites, as well as a deep familiarity with Zayo's assets used to deliver solutions, with a primary focus on Connectivity offerings. The Senior Solution Engineer is likely to be engaged directly in Zayo's most critical customer relationships and the most complex technical environments, making a wide array of technical expertise paramount. As the technical expert for the Zayo account team, the Senior Solution Engineer will additionally be responsible for partnering in the preparation and delivery of technical presentations, acting as a subject matter expert in all offerings, and helping to both develop sales opportunities and drive them to closure. Development of technical expertise within the ecosystem of assigned customer verticals is a must. Ongoing consultation with sales and engineering teams after sales are closed is critical to ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction with Zayo and its products, and the Senior Solution Engineer is expected to partner across the Zayo ecosystem, playing a role throughout the lifecycle of the customer relationship. The Senior Solution Engineer will be responsible for sharing knowledge and expertise regarding the industry and the role through shadowing, formal learning sessions, and ongoing collaboration with Associate Solution Engineers and Solution Engineers alike. In some cases, the Senior Solution Engineer may have designated subject-matter-expert, mentoring, or lead roles on individual teams, including taking on special projects to benefit the broader SE Organization or greater Zayo community. Qualifications:
Estimated base pay range: $92,000 - $128,850 USD/annually. The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan. Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.
