Pantheon Data was founded in 2011, initially providing acquisition and supply chain management services to the US Coast Guard. Our service offerings have grown in the past ten years, including infrastructure resiliency, contact center operations, information technology, software engineering, program management, strategic communications, engineering, and cybersecurity. We have also grown our customer base to include commercial clients. The company has used this experience to expand our service offerings to other agencies within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Defense (DoD), and other Federal Civilian Agencies.

Position Overview

We are expanding our Financial Management Service Line to support exciting opportunities at Pantheon Data. We are seeking an Analyst to support our clients in identifying process risks, designing and assessing process controls, and implementing process improvements. In this role, you will work closely with federal clients to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of their processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities



  • Assist in documenting business processes and identifying process risks and related controls.
  • Evaluate the design of process controls and develop test plans to assess their operational effectiveness.
  • Execute control testing, document findings, and prepare reports to summarize observations and provide recommendations.
  • Develop process improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in mitigating risks.
  • Support clients in remediation efforts by providing recommendations for improving process controls.
  • Conduct research on regulatory guidance, industry standards, and emerging requirements to inform best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members, client personnel, and teaming partners to deliver high-quality work.
  • Draft memos, presentations, and other deliverables to communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.


Required Skills and Experience



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a professional services firm or within the industry.
  • U.S. Citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance or higher.


Preferred Skills and Experience



  • Knowledge of federal business processes such as funds management, budget formulation and execution, receivables management, disbursements, property management, human resources, financial reporting, and grants management.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to prepare professional reports and memos summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Familiarity with working paper documentation standards and internal control frameworks.
  • Ability to effectively conduct research on regulatory requirements and emerging trends.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively on project teams.


Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Work Location - Hybrid - Washington DC

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $67,000 - $75,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
