QA Technician - Oakland Park, FL
Location: Oakland Park, FL
Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Vaco is hiring a QA Technician with manufacturing or testing facility experience for a dynamic opportunity in Oakland Park, FL. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in quality assurance or testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform in-process inspection and testing of products and manufacturing processes.
  • Record data and prepare inspection reports.
  • Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective Action Reports (CARs).
  • Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) of products per internal or customer specifications.
  • Maintain testing and inspection equipment, ensuring proper calibration.
  • Assist with root cause analysis and implementation of Corrective Actions.
  • Implement and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) in manufacturing.
  • Develop and maintain Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) and test protocols.
  • Provide support for Quality Control sampling plans and statistical techniques.
Qualifications
  • Education: Certificate/Diploma from a Technical or Trade School.
  • Experience: Minimum five years in a manufacturing or testing facility.
  • Certifications: Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) and/or Certified Quality Technician (CQT) per ASQ guidelines (preferred).
  • Skills:
    • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques.
    • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
    • Intermediate math and statistical skills.
    • Proficient in MS Office and general business software.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
