What You Need to Know
Sales Associate Responsibilities:
- Develop good public relations by meeting with the community-at-large, as well as organizations and individuals
involved in the health field by maintaining frequent contact with referral sources, hospitals, physicians, Case Managers and insurance companies to understand ongoing needs to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and maintain the company's reputation. Partner with sales team to develop tactics and strategies surrounding growth of census and acquiring new business. - Receive referrals and inform patients, family members, staff, and physicians about AccentCare programs and
services available for patient care needs. Contract with the patient and/or patient's family to engage AccentCare for home care needs. - Manage the coordination of information between patients, family members, physicians, SNF/hospital staff, the
home health agency, and any other involved entities related to the continuing care of patients in their homes. Secure physicians' orders to seamlessly initiate start of care. Provide home care staff with adequate information of home care plan prior to patient's order for service and equipment and order necessary equipment from vendors and notify home health agency - Provide home health agency with complete referral information to ensure timely, appropriate care, and to
enhance relationships between the agency, patients, families, physicians, and referral sources. - Participate in SNF/hospital coordination meetings, agency staff and in-service meetings.
Qualifications
Sales Associate Qualifications:
- 1 - 2 years of experience, experience in Home Health or Home Care a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
