Position Overview

Pantheon Data is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Program Manager (Communications) with extensive background in managing communication programs to lead a complex, multi-year government contract. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of the contractor and ensuring the successful delivery of public affairs, congressional affairs, visual information and multimedia, and technical library/archive services aligned with organizational goals. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a high-visibility program, coordinate with both internal teams and third-party/vendor resources, and provide strategic direction for program execution within budget and scope. Responsibilities

As the Program Manager, you will lead and direct challenging projects, execute assignments independently, and ensure the timely and effective delivery of services. You will be the primary liaison between the contractor, the Government's Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), and other key stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and management of program deliverables. Your ability to provide administrative oversight, corporate management, and technical leadership will be key to ensuring success.

Required Skills and Experience



  • Ten (10) years of program management experience, with at least five (5) years involving communication programs.
  • Proven ability to lead and direct challenging projects and execute assignments independently within the scope of the contract.
  • Demonstrated experience providing administrative oversight, corporate management and ability to provide overall technical, schedule, and cost direction.
  • Knowledge of communication functions associated with the contract and workload management.
  • Manage government program within budget and scope.
  • Interact with both company resources and third party/vendor resources, as well as coordinate activities across teams.
  • Provide overall management of the contractor's performance under a 5-year contract.
  • Make day-to-day decisions to support the execution of a public affairs contract.
  • Serve as the primary contact point for both the Government's COR and the Contractor's employees.
  • Develop/Maintain a detailed project plan to track progress.
  • Develop/Maintain weekly status summary presentation/report to present to Stakeholders and Project Team.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
  • Manage a team that coordinates and executes projects for public affairs, congressional affairs, visual information and multimedia, and technical library/archive, aligning with the organization's mission and goals, providing training and development to maintain skills and follow industry standards.

Bachelor's Degree

Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Work Location: Remote, VA
